This week marks the halfway mark to my 1/2 marathon training program! The reality of this has sparked some anxiety, excitement and giddy anticipation. In my head I want to crush my half marathon PR of 2:06:08 and beat the 2 hour mark, but deep down I am afraid I have not worked hard enough to do so. Many of my short training runs have been scrapped due to weather, schedule conflicts or just lack of perseverance. Other short runs have been disappointing while pushing a stroller.
Only 4 weeks left until race day. Time to really shake up this training program and get more speed work in!
