Who’s you audience?

It’s taken a little longer than I would have liked to get this blog up and running…..a few years in fact.  There hasn’t been a lack of material, emotional response to current events or shortage of opinions.  It’s been a question of who YOU are.  Who would read my ramblings?  Who might find my rants via Google search?  Which of my Facebook or Twitter friends may stumble across my writings?  Which leads to the harder question: “How do I want you to see me?”

We are always taught in school to consider the audience of your writing/presentation first.  In order to make the experience worthwhile & positive, you must address what your audience expects to get from you.  I certainly want your time spent here to be worthwhile and positive…..but how?

My plan is simple.  I just have to be authentic. Perhaps you just learned who I am, or something new about me and some of you may just connect with similar interests.  This site will cover it all; from my musing on life to my training run times.  I am putting it all out here for your consumption and hopefully your enjoyment, but this is really me.  All of me.  My own journey of self discovery has already taught me that I must stop living my life based on expectations of others, but instead as God has asked me to live.  When I die, He will be the only one to judge.

So who is your life’s audience?  Are you living your life authentically?
